My dream is to a head baseball coach or head basketball coach at a big highschool, university, or even on a pro level, i want to know is it still possible for me to be a coach when i have an undergrad degree in political science and pre-law instead of sports management or coaching theory minor, or something related to those?

coaches in high schools usuallyhave some other job in that school, although not necessarily a teacher. for example, the head football coach at my old high school was also a security personnel. it was obvious to everyone that he was only there to coach football, but he was on the payroll as a security officer. in most universities, yes, you need at least a masters degree in your field in order to teach there, and for most universities, that includes coaching. as far as professional levels, most of thos coaches get promoted from either inside the organization, or from a lesser position from another organization or college, but you can always give it a shot, i just wouldnt know who to contact.
