Sports Finals

I don’t know how much longer my 14-year-old Nissan 240SX will last, so I’m thinking a bit about my next car.

I can’t afford anything new or super-fancy (no Porsches, sadly), but what small sports cars are out there these days? Something like a Nissan 240SX, that can handle quick acceleration and breaking but isn’t unreasonably expensive?
Or, if you know of any cars that perform well with cornering, etc. but aren’t considered sports cars, please let me know about them too

1. Ford Focus
2. dodge Neon
3. Grand Am GT and SE and Prix
4. Cobalt

If anyone has andy of these, or knows about cars, or has any advice, please share. =) I am hoping to get all of the information on these before I make a final decision. yea that’s another consideration i thought of if i get 2 cars; it will keep milage off each other. the miles pile up fast if driving out of town, but not long enough to fly. but keeping milage off each other for 2 cars is a big point. by breakdown, i don’t mean the immediate future. i have the same opinion of american cars for the first answerer
