    Take pre-med, biology, or another hard science.
    You will then need to go to medical school and do a residency in your chosen specialty.

    If you did, that wouldn’t be the end of it…you’d have to go to med school.

    It doesn’t require pre-med as an undergrad major, but it would certainly help to have all that background before you go.
