Taylor Swift
I read a bio on Taylor Swift- The pop-country princess sweetheart.
Taylor grew up on a farm in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Her mom was a major business executive, So that’s why she wanted to name her daughter Taylor- because if anybody saw on a business card the name, Taylor, they wouldn’t know if it was a boy or girl if they were thinking of hiring her. But Taylor didn’t go exactly the way her mom had planned but her parents were still perfectly fine with it.
Taylor was born December 13 1989, after she was born her mom decided to become a full time mom.
Taylor was happy that her mom stayed home to raise her
“My mom decided to stay home to raise me. She totally raised me to be logical and practical. I was brought up with such a strong woman in my life and i think that had a lot to do with me not wanting to do anything half way” Taylor told the ‘Ottawa Citizen’.
By the time Taylor was 2 she found out she would be a big sister to a little brother named Austin. They acted just like brother and sister should act.
For Taylor 2 must have been a very exciting age.
Because Taylor was 2 when she revealed her hidden talent–Singing! Actually here are home video’s of Taylor walking up to strangers and start singing to them- like songs from the lion king. They all thought she was the most cutest child ever.
Andrea and scott–Taylor’s parents– weren’t to surprised when they had a singer in the family, after all Andrea’s mother had been a professional opera singer.
When Taylor was 6 she got a LeAnn Rimes album–’Blue’. That’s when Taylor discovered country music. She’d listen to the album non stop! LeAnn was one of the biggest teen country singers of all time! Releasing her first album when she was 13-no wonder Taylor wanted to follow in the footsteps.
After that CD Taylor was hooked on Country Music. She would always sing along to the songs of her fav country singers, so Her mom encouraged her to try out for the community children’s theater when she was 9. She had a blast acting, and she loved to be in musicals the best.
She was 10 when she knew that she had to be a country singer.
She was on stage playing Sandy from ‘Grease’ and every song lyric came out sounding like country! She already knew she was gonna be a singer- she couldn’t put that voice to rest. But then she knew it had to be country. And she loved to be on stage too! everything was perfect. She was pretty, talented, loved the attention.
Taylor sang at bars and restraunts on karaoke night. she had to beg her parents to take her. They knew how much it meant to her so they had to take her.
One of Taylors fav places to go was Pat Garrett roadhouse. A couple of country stars sang there every week. And so every week, they offered a winner-The winner would be able to open for the singer that would be there that night.
Taylor just kept telling Pat ‘I’m just going to come back here if u don’t let me win once’ she would never give up.
With her determination and talent, Taylor got the chance to open for Charlie Daniels and other country acts.
Taylor soon started performing at fairs and festivals, she took an chance she could just to be up on stage. Every weekend Taylor would sing at a fair, festival or karaoke contests.
“The cool thing about this is that my parents never pushed me. It’s always been my desire and love to do this. That’s what makes it so sweet, see if i had been pushed , if i didn’t love this, i would probably not have made it this far” Taylor told CMT.com. Taylor just kept finding places to sing. She sang the national anthem at a bunch of sporting events when she was 11, She sang at Philadelphia 76er games, and Jay-Z (who had been watching) gave her a high five after she sang-she bragged about that for a year straight.
She had been getting a lot success, Taylor’s mom helped her record a demo CD.it had a bunch of songs of Taylor singing karaoke of classic Country songs. Taylor knew she would have to get the attention of BigWigs of of country music in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville was a big music city, it’s home of the framed Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry, and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.
Since Taylor wanted to follow in LeAnn Rimes footsteps, her mom and her made copies of her Demo CD, and drove down to Nashville. She handed out her CD to every Music Label receptionist and said ‘Hi. Im Taylor Swift and Im 11 and I ant a record deal’ and handed them her Cd. It took a lot of courage to do that. Finally someone was nice enough to call Taylor and tell her that’s not the way you get a record deal. So of course she didn’t get one on that trip to Nash
YES this is 4 skopl, and I have to have at LEAST 3/4 of a page, and I wanted to see how much I wrote, and that’s only 1/4 of a page, and Its not suppose to be perfession thanxs 4 the coments

How is this possible?I don’t believe it! my friend’s a tennis genius?

Published by admin under Tennis

Adam A asked:

I just played tennis with my friend a while ago.I’ve been playing tennis for two weeks now and my friend has played only once. So,i thought it was an even matchup coz we were both beginners…I was totally WRONG!!! He totally creamed me…Three sets…6-0,6-0,6-0 it was unbelievevable!! His serve was so fast i could’t even blink(i’m NOT exaggerating it’s the truth) i thought maybe it was because of the rackets(i was using a control racket while he used a power racket)so we exchanged but he still creamed yet again. Then, i asked another friend of mine Shah who had 2 year’s experience to go up him but he was obliterated as well. With no more options left, i turned to my senior, the no.2 player of my school(the no.1 player, shah’s brother was absent)who’s played for five years and has participated in tournament finals countless times.I thought he was going to win but to my despair he lost too.. straight sets and he only got points when my friend made unforced errors.my senior made a fast serve but my friend easily broke my senior’s serve and fooled him with an amazing backspin drop shot.Even my senior couldn’t touch his serve. Is my friend a genius or something? He has an awesome serve…an amazing backhand..drop shot..forehand and the weirdest thing about it all is he didn’t apply spin to his serve but his serve has a low bounce but awesome speed,he’s only fourteen and it is only his second time playing tennis but he’s played squash before and plays all kinds of sports just like me but he seems to excel faster .Can you guys tell me a way to counter his serve??I could see the ball coming but i couldn’t react and swing my racket fast enough!!Help me please!!!!!!!!!!.
of course i suck,if i didn’t why would i be paying against a beginner like my friend.but do the people who were defeated by my friend, suck?they’ve established themselves as talented players how could they lose to a super beginner?and how can a noob be able to hit that fast!!!!

my friend is about 168 cm in height and i told you he’s fourteen, his thin but his biceps reminds me of Rafael Nadal
Nope’he’s not a liar,he’s my best friend and he does not lie.But he does have the uncanny ability to imitate movements he’s seen on television like Andy Roddick’s serve and Roger’s backhand. He’s played squash at state level before. And you know what?He also learned basketball a few months ago but he can dribble at lightninng speed and shoot accurately as well
He’s got a good serve which goes in 80% because he lacks control. But when it goes in you could barely see it

Do the Red Wings have bandwagon fans as well?

Published by admin under Hockey

Sharks Fan asked:

Okay, so going through Yahoo!Sports NHL Blogs, I’ve noticed that all of a sudden there are actually Wings fans posting. Now, they may have been posting on these blogs before, but why didn’t it say Go Wings! or Wings for the Cup 2008! or something like that?

Now, my feeling is that many fans were ashamed. Such good teams consistently, but no results. Kinda like how I’m a Sharks fan…. (mind you, I do put Go Sharks! most of the time ;) ). However, just like Wings fans were accusing Pens fans consisting mostly of bandwagon fans I have a feeling that many Wings fans jumped on the bandwagon soon after their success in the 1st few games of the Cup Finals.

What do you think? I know that there are going to be some upset Wings fans, but hey, just answer the question nicely and I really won’t care.
@ redwingsrthebest19: I did not mean that they are not a good team. I’m hella impressed by the way they’ve assembled the team. Ken Holland is probably the best GM in the league. Getting those late rounders who produce is amazing. What I meant was that, even with their high level of talent, the Wings were failing.

Sure, they won the cup in ‘02, only to be swept out in the 1st round the following year. Sure, you guys did lose to the eventual finalist/champion each of those years… but I was expecting more. Every year, I have a feeling that the Wings are going to win, even though I’m rooting for the Sharks. I was rather surprised by at least their absense in the Conference Finals. They’ve had a slew of early exits, quite similar to the Sharks. This is what I meant by ashamed of disappointment.

I have read of the torture and killing done by the CHinese dictatorship against Tibetans, Falun Gong and people who want democracy. How did the world allow such a corrupt brutal rogue state to have the games?
