Browns Try To Go Green In Football Betting
NFL wagering expectations are gaining for the potential of the Browns as they look like a squad that may very well be 1 of the most improved in Sports betting. NFL wagering buzz from Cleveland has been incredibly positive as Eric Mangini commences his 2nd Football wagering campaign as head coach with a revamped lineup.
Mike Holmgren was added in from retirement to manage the Cleveland Browns and 1 of the first big moves he made was doing away with both quarterbacks Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, neither of whom might attain traction for the starting position.
Holmgren instead brought in vet Jake Delhomme from the Panthers after he had the most unfortunate season of his career in 2009.
Delhomme looks restored on the field and has brought a much needed element of professionalism and leadership to the locker room that could possibly be a important factor in the Browns being a top value with the Football gambling prospects, so while the move wasn’t celebrated at the time, it has been in preseason.
“I feel really good about the progress we’ve made, the strides we’ve made,” explained Mangini. “The second year is different. Guys understand expectations. There are so many things that you don’t have to cover because they get it and they become teachers to people who are new and that helps a lot.”
The ultra challenging AFC North, which features the defending champion Cincinnati Bengals, the 2010 favorite Baltimore Ravens, and the 2008 Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers, is not going to give the Cleveland Browns an easy go of it.
However the Browns have the opportunity to cover the numbers as a value-added long shot, even though they will be constant underdogs with the sport betting odds.
Mangini was thought to be terminated heading into the last month of the season however Cleveland rallied to win 4 games to close out the year and Holmgren, a former coach, was impressed that they did not give up.
“Often times when you’re having a season like that, all of a sudden the bags are packed, the cars are running, and they’re playing it out,” claimed Holmgren. “That didn’t happen here. That’s a credit to Eric, his coaching staff, and certainly the players.” Cleveland split its first two Sports wagering exhibitions but Delhomme has looked sharp when betting football. Delhomme went 12-16 for 127 yards in last week’s 19-17 home loss to the St Louis Rams in a driving rain storm.
