When theres a sport that involves women making out with each other is when womens sports become viable.
You’re right about the WNBA. In my opinion it is just not very good. The athleticism isn’t even on par with most high school basketball teams (here in L.A. at least).
Professional volleyball is pretty close to gender neutral as far as popularity and earnings. I know it’s not exactly an answer to what you are asking, but I think watching men’s volleyball is just not as interesting - too many aces, not enough volleys or side outs.
