Have I failed at life?

Published by admin at 6:00 pm under Other - Social Science

Laughing all the way asked:

I am 18 almost 19 I am living in residence it’s my first year of university I’m not doing so well. I don’t have many friends, I wish I had more. I’ve never had a boyfriend I think I should learn to love myself before I get one. I think I might be depressed, but I don’t know what I’m depressed about. I only speak 2 1/2 languages everyone else here knows at least 4. I procrastinate, I stay up all night then I fall asleep in class. I haven’t learned much here. I think I’m going to fail all my finals. My roommate hates me. I’ve never kissed anybody sober. I’m ugly and I’m getting fatter every day. I’m running low on ADD medication, and I need more desperately. I have a $150 library fine because I lost a book. I’m not smart enough to be in university.
I’m so average and non interesting… I **** at sports, art, school, and music. It seems like I **** at everything.

    The failure at life comes when you give up
    Do your best and keep on trying, God loves you

    The Life doesn’t think you failed–you are still alive, so your life has a higher purpose; wait gratefully and let it unfold. Good luck!

    Sounds like you need a fresh take on life. instead of focusing on the things you’re not great at, focus on the things you are good at. change your attitude and start going to bed earlier and getting some sleep. eat healthy and exercise. don’t think about the bad stuff and focus on the good, start working hard and doing good things for yourself, you’ll feel better soon. good luck. you’re not a failure!

    God created you, and everything He creates is wonderful!!

    Talk to Him, seek Him, and He will show you just how much you are worth. You are precious to Him. He smiles when you smile. He waits with His arms out to hug you when you are sad and lonely. I read a book that I think you would enjoy -

    The author writes as if she’s speaking to a friend. I’ve laughed and cried, and it was hard to put it down. You can view the first few pages of the book. Amazon has it for pretty cheap if it sounds like you might be interested.

    You are welcome to email me any time and talk. :}
