I broke my 5th metatarsal about 3 months ago. Is there a special brace to wear when returning to sports?

I would call your doctor and see what they suggest. I’m not sure if there is a spacific brace but they might provide with some information on ways to add the extra support you feel you need for playing sports.
They might refer you to a company that specializes in custom braces or even suggest a way to tape your foot for the support.
