I might be interesting in purchasing one from a used car place, but on insurance sports cars will raise my insurance. So do you think this is considered a sports car?

They are sporty cars namely coupe’s its hard to draw a line on what’s sports cars and what’s not .I had a 180sx many years ago with 170bhp stock but insurance classed it as a sports car.
So my answer yes in its class.

just call any insurance company and see if they consider that car an sport car

you cant say by the doors of the car is it a sport car or not
considering this…..the subaru and lancer both cars has 4 doors so they are supose to be “family sendans”?

as far as i know mx6 is not an sport car

Yes it is. The MX-6 is a sportscar. Quick and fun to drive.

Any 2 door car will raise insurance.

The 2 door Toyota Yaris has higher insurance than the Yaris sedan.
