i agree with this blog, to all those hating on this writer, they are wrong…. kobe has the ball 3/4 of the game… plus he’s still selfish with the ball.. look at phil jackson.. he benched kobe for being selfish with the ball.. something he never done to jordan… lebron is on and second rate team right now.. but now that he has his supporting cast, he is a contender… and although he may be in the east(weak), he still beat lakers twice this season and beat the detroit pistons in the east finals.. something kobe, shaq, malone, payton, fisher, and etc. couldn’t pull off.. so whats the big point.. lbj is better than kobe… kobe is the best offensive player, but definenlty not the best overall player… and the stats speaks for itself… just think, if kobe had lebrons team and lebron had kobe’s team.. i would see a 72-10 record for lebron like jordan..

Your are crazy just like the writer….Kobe made it to the playoffs with a team worse than that of Lebron the last 2 years and he is not in the east(weak)….. Lebron would of never beaten the Pistons team that won the finals or the year after taht lost in game 7 vs the Spurs….Come on Lebron went 0-4 vs the Spurs and never was one game close….Kobe much better player and by far the MVP of this year…Bet Cavs won’t be in the playoffs if they were a team in the west…

You’re a Kobe hater also! KOBE MVP!!!!!

listen LeBron plays for JV and Kobe plays for Varsity. As of right now, if the Cavs played for the west they would be in the 10th place.

    ‘NUFF SAID!!!!

That article is 95% correct. The 5% wrong part is that Dwyer portrays Lebron almost like an anti-Kobe. I’ve seen Lebron when he’s selfish, he’s definitely not an anti-Kobe. But Lebron is definitely a much, much better team player and team leader than Kobe. I’d like to see Lebron and Phil Jackson hook up sometime in their careers. Phil Jackson is arguably the greatest coach of all time and Kobe jockers are giving all the credit to Kobe. Give some credit to Phil Jackson, would ya?!

P.S. The Cavaliers are worse than the Lakers team for the past two years unlike that jocker said before. The difference was that Lebron made his teammates look good!

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lets see….. 4th place in the Eastern Conference compared to 1st place in possibly the toughest conference the NBA has ever seen. Geeeee, thats a tough one!

kobe in underrated by the experts..they always find something badon him.they robe him of the mvp twicw cause his team wasnt good. i bet u put lebron on the lakers roster of the 05’season and i garanteed u they would not make it to the playoff, with smush parker and kwame!???!??….mmmm no kobe do whatever it takes to give the lakers their best chance of winning!!

Depend on how you think a best player is. LBJ’s game is a lady show. Kobe game is tiger show. LBJ’ game is soft like flirting with lady;and can win over lady easily; while Kobe’s game like fighting with Tiger; you can get killed anytime.

kobe easily this year. he plays in the big leagues ( the west) while lebron plays for a so so team in the minors ( the east)

I have to agree with just about everybody else here Kobe has been doing good and I am sure he will go FAR.

the east last year was a joke, detroit was the top team in the east last year, and they really werent that good. cavs got lucky in the playoffs. lebron is not a better overall player, how is he better overall, when kobe is a better offensive player and a better defensive player. i personally think the most valuable player is chris paul, he has the hornets comepeting for top spot in the west. talk about stats, cp3s stats are better than both kobe and lebron.
tell me how he made hughes, and z better? they were better before he played with them. gooden is doing better with the bulls now too.

the only reason that lebrons team is even close to being a contender is because there in the east if they were in the west they would be out of the playoff race and in 10th place look at the standings. Last year kobe kept his team(with no help) in the playoffs
