Rusty taste and fatigue?
CyberKnight asked:
The semester is coming to an end. I have to run a mile for my final. It might not seem a big deal to some of you but I don’t do sports or any other exercise. When I ran last week I felt really tired (which is normal) but I also had a rusty taste in my mouth and my throat was sore. After a few minutes of finishing I get a dry cough. What is this due to? How can I get rid of it (other than do more exercise)? Should I use an inhaler?

I get the same thing. I had to run 5 miles for my final and I made it.
Rusty taste is usually blood. The sore throat thing…I had to go to the doc and he said that I had excercise induced asthma and gave me an inhaler and it worked.
Some ppl get it because you are not breathing right. Theres like special ways of breathing while ur running so you dont get winded or cramps. So talk to you gym teacher and see what he says about it. I use to get that and after a few mins it was gone. But after you run for a while and your body builds a tolerance then that wont happen to u.
