Sleeping Problems?

daleicious asked:

Well, I am insomniac, so I usually can’t go to sleep for a very long time. If I do manage to get some sleep, I wake up during the middle of the night a ton of times. On normal days, I can never fall asleep before midnight. My friends are always telling me that I really need to get more sleep because I always look like I never get any. Some of them have become concerned about my health because of this problem. I am lactose-intolerant, so I can’t try the whole warm milk makes you sleepy thing. I have tried listening to music, working during the day, dancing and playing sports, and nothing has worked so far. Any ideas on how I cna get more sleep? I my school year is almost over, and I am going to go into high-school, so I really need to sleep so I can concentrate on my finals and tests. I am 13, so I can’t try sleeping pills. Help please!

it is impossible to have insomnia while you are asleep, you cannot wake out of a sound sleep because of insomnia, imsomnia only limits you from falling asleep so you must have some other problem and should talk to your doctor. also i don’t think this is healthy at all but i’ve been sick for a long time and i always have trouble sleeping because i don’t move around much during the day and i drink benydryll when i really can’t fall asleep, but talk to your doctor about that first!

I used to have trouble getting to sleep and repeating the same things seemed to help, for example i listen to the same thing everynight now (Ricky Gervais XFM Shows 3) and i just seem to get a lil drowsy as soon as i hear it. No idea if that’s just me being wierd but it’s worth a shot, obviously not listening to the same thing because Ricky Gervais’ quick wit would have you up all night in stitches so maybe leave a film or something on instead.

you could try a homeopathic remedy… i dont know if they really work, or if its just the power of suggetion, but it usually works for me. My aunt recommended Coffea Cruda to me for my sleepnessness… here is a website that describes it:

    good luck!

Considering that you are 13 take a look this site and get your parents or guardian to do same. There are some great solutions there:
