What American cities have no sports teams?
Wiccan Realist asked:
I’m talking about cities with a population of over 200,000 people. Like Las Vegas.
Can you think of any?
If you can’t, then do you know of any high populated cities with only one major league sports team?
Thanks for your help.

To answer your question,
There’s 100 cities that have over 200 thousand people.
And I can name a lot of cities in that list that do not have professional sports teams.
To name a couple in the list, Newark, NJ and Jersey City, NJ, both right by where I live, do not have professional sports teams.
Sacramento has the Kings cities with no team:OKLAHOMA CITY,BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA,salem oregon,TACOMA WASHINGTOM,AUSTIN TEXAS,albaquerque new mexico,memphis tennessee,jacksonville Mississippi,
Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, New Mexico …
Birmingham, Alabama
We’re all about the SEC here in the South.
Austin, Texas needs a pro franchise bad. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and spent a good part of my life in Atlanta. I live in Austin now and this city needs a team any sport. I don’t care if it’s football, basketball or baseball. After living in cities with a pro team in almost every team sport, I **** that this place has nothing but the Texas Longhorns and I don’t even care about them.
