what do you think about parent violence in childrens sports?
turtle93305 asked:
1.Is winning everything? What message do parents send to their children about participating in sports? Are organized sports really for competitive parents instead of the children who participate?

Winning is not everything and I think some parents act erratically because they fail to realize that they are living vicariously through their children….to the extreme.
Most parents seem to be OK but like anything else the few make it bad for the many. Winning depends on the level of play the younger the child the less importance should be put on winning but as the level of competition increases so does the importance of winning. after all a child must learn that winning is important if they are going to play the game at all!
