What does the NBA and other professional sports leagues know about Vegas that fans don’t?

They’re more afraid of Vegas than I am of Werewolves!

There has got to be a lot that these people know that fans don’t. If it is that bad, I highly suggest the NBA, NFL and MLB skip out on that place, along with most other sports leagues. That city is the worst!

I think that they don’t want to have a professional sports team in a place where gambling on sports and other things is so rampant. Obviously, as many other sports have shown, Vegas isn’t the only place that you can do that, but since you can’t go anywhere in Vegas without some form of gambling, they don’t want their athletes to be tempted like that.

Edit: I agree with you Michael, but you can’t deny that vegas is the poster city for irresponsible gambling. Which scares the leagues, in my opinion.

I live in Las Vegas and it is really a stigma. Too bad the management of the leagues do not know you can book a bet on any game in a deli, convenience store or parking lot in America. Betting occurs in ever community.
It is just a jaded edge agaist my town.
