What small sports cars would you recommend for someone who likes Nissan 240SX?
I don’t know how much longer my 14-year-old Nissan 240SX will last, so I’m thinking a bit about my next car.
I can’t afford anything new or super-fancy (no Porsches, sadly), but what small sports cars are out there these days? Something like a Nissan 240SX, that can handle quick acceleration and breaking but isn’t unreasonably expensive?
Or, if you know of any cars that perform well with cornering, etc. but aren’t considered sports cars, please let me know about them too

The Mazda Miata is a car that is very balanced and “go-chart-like” when it comes to handling those curves. It’s not a beast off the line but it makes up for it with it’s cornering and braking. The down side for some people, It’s only a 2 seater. A 2000 or so Miata can be had with under 100,000 miles for $6,000 to $9,000 depending on the mileage and condition.
For a little over $10,000 you can have the Honda s2000 which is rear wheel drive like the Miata and handles the corners really well, but it’s got more “get up and go” than the Miata. It’s also only a 2 seater and extremely fun to drive.
Also, the Mini Coopers are great in the corners as well. And the Cooper S models are supercharged so they’re fast as well. But they’re newer so they will be more than the s2000 and the Miata. I personally like the s2000 and would get that. That is one heck of a car for any 14 year old kid.
acura integra 2 door LS or GSR i owned an LS which has a none vtec motor but still it was quick and fun also the new version of the integra which is the RSX is a good one although depending on whats done to the car they can get expensive but hold their value
