What sports can my huge 15 year old participate in?

My 15 year old son is freakin huge. He is already 6′10 and 300 pounds. He is just covered in muscles and he can bench 400 pounds. He is so big that the local football league wont take him. They say he is too big and that he will hurt the younger smaller players. The high school is struggling financially to support a football team (supposedly), What sports can he participate in?

wow thats impressive for a 15year old, get him into boxing, hockey (maybe as a goalie, the other team prob wont score) or give a shot at baseball, something like a pitcher i bet you that if he can bench 400lbs than he can probably throw a ball prutty deam fast, give it a shot it might work out

Sounds ideally suited for some track and field events…..

If he can run fast then he sounds like he would fit superbly into decathlon - speed and strength is vital there

    Or discus or hammer

But really, seeing as you are in the US football would seem to be the sport for him - maybe he will just have to keep up the fitness and train for a couple of years til he goes to college

Hard for me to visualize a 15 year old….but as for sports…..at 6′10″ he could easily take on basketball height, muscles, and weight will help him a lot here. Football I would say would be ideal, so that is to bad. Other great ideas would be like lacrosse, hockey, wrestling, boxing, and possibly some track type events etc. Good Luck!

Try sumo wrestling.. they are widely popular and the bigger the size the better they fare.
