Grading is based on projects, homework, worksheets, tests, finals, quizzes, and participation points. Some courses last a month, and are sped through. Classes are 1.5 hours, with 10min breaks. there are no electives, and little diversity. Teachers are boring, unenergetic, and little to no personality. Tutoring is available. Your with the same group of students all day. 4 classes a day. Most of the People smoke, including teachers. Most of the students are trashy, or rednecks. not too many girls, and are not very ladylike, and unnattractive. 50 students in the whole school. The environment is more like get you in, and expecting you to be a workoholic, no matter the expense. No sports, activities, or any fun stuff.

That’s depends upon the individual. We can make the boring sessions as an enjoyable one. But it’s important to get the supports from all other students…

Seems like you are giving your own answer? Guess it’s for the Tech school, as often the private Tech school is a last resort of those who could not adjust to the traditional college environment.

Actually, there are better or worse Tech Schools, you need to shop around, visit them, tour the building while students are there, so you won’t get a trashy one.

Hopefully, the smoking is done outdoors in accordance with health laws of your region. And the extra tutoring is a real good benefit from some, as are the one month, accelerated courses.

With shorter courses, at least you aren’t stuck for 3-4 months with a boring teacher or subject, you get to change the main study topics more often than in a college.
The reason you don’t get electives is that the Tech school is giving a basic, no thrills education, to reduce costs for them.

They make a profit off your fees, and sometimes help with placements in a job market after you graduate. They stay in business, by providing you the skills to get a job. Colleges stay in business by providing you with a well-rounded education, and the job skills are often secondary.

Learning how to study, and how to learn and stay current with life’s lessons, is sometimes more important than what you study.
